Learn how to use the Superplural Link webhook system to automate processes with n8n, Zapier, Make, and any tool that accepts HTTP. Practical examples included.
Every time something happens in Superplural Link, such as a new registration, a payment received, or a link created, the system can automatically send an HTTP notification to any endpoint you configure. This is called a webhook, and it is the foundation for connecting Superplural Link to any automation tool.
\n \nWhat are webhooks and why do they matter
\n \nInstead of periodically checking if something has changed (which is called polling), the webhook does the opposite: when the event occurs, Superplural Link pushes the data to you in real time. This is more efficient and much faster.
\n \nWith webhooks, you can:
\n \n-
\n
- Receive data on new users in your CRM as soon as they register \n
- Trigger a sequence of emails when a payment is confirmed \n
- Create a task in Notion or Trello when someone schedules an appointment \n
- Feed a Google Sheets spreadsheet with each new link created \n
- Notify the team on Slack when a conversion occurs \n
Events available for webhook in Superplural Link
\n \n-
\n
- New user registered \n
- User deleted the account \n
- New payment received \n
- Custom domain created or updated \n
- New link created or updated \n
- Discount code redeemed \n
- Before and after cron job execution \n
Security: HMAC SHA-256 signature
\n \nEach webhook sent by Superplural Link includes a signature in the header, generated with HMAC SHA-256 using a Signing Secret that you define. This allows the destination server to verify that the request indeed came from Superplural Link and not from third parties. To validate the signature in Node.js:
\n \nconst crypto = require('crypto');
\nconst signature = req.headers['x-webhook-signature'];
\nconst expected = crypto.createHmac('sha256', YOUR_SIGNING_SECRET).update(JSON.stringify(req.body)).digest('hex');
\nconst isValid = signature === expected;
\n
\nIntegrating with n8n
\n \nIn n8n, create a flow with the "Webhook" node as the trigger. Copy the generated URL, paste it in the webhooks panel of Superplural Link, and select the event you want to capture. From there, n8n receives the data and you can process it with any node: Google Sheets, Slack, Gmail, HTTP Request, etc.
\n \nIf you are using n8n hosted on your server, make sure that the webhook URL is publicly accessible (it cannot be localhost).
\n \nIntegrating with Zapier
\n \nIn Zapier, use the trigger "Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook." Copy the generated URL and configure it in the Superplural Link panel. When the event occurs, Zapier captures the data and you can connect with over 6,000 applications available on the platform.
\n \nIntegrating with Make (Makeflow)
\n \nIn Make, add the "Webhooks → Custom webhook" module as the first module of your scenario. Configure the URL in the Superplural Link panel. Make automatically maps the fields from the received payload.
\n \nREST API for more complex automations
\n \nIn addition to webhooks (which are passive), Superplural Link also has a complete REST API that allows you to create and manage links, QR Codes, biolinks, projects, domains, and pixels programmatically. Use the UTM link generator to create trackable links via API and automatically feed your reports.
